蓮
Definition
* 多年生草本植物，生淺水中。葉子大而圓。花大，有粉紅、白色兩種。種子稱"蓮子"，包在倒圓錐形的花托內，合稱"蓮蓬"。地下莖肥大而長，有節，稱藕。種子和地下莖均可食（亦稱荷、"芙蓉"、"芙蕖"、"菡萏"） ～藕。～房（❶蓮蓬；❷指僧人的居室）。～座（❶蓮花的底部；❷佛像的座位，由佛座多為蓮花形而得名）
